Cold Weather Preparation - Zombie.Hunter - 11-30-2020

The cold weather is apparently here, so have you updated your BOB/Travel bag or mode of transportation with cold weather gear?

What would be the best items to have on hand for any/all situations?

I have an empty tote for my trunk to leave in my car for the duration of winter in case I need it...
What should I have in my tote?

So today I put together a travel bag, I'll take it with me when I'm out driving and bring it back in the house when I'm home.
It's a tactical bag filled with the following:
A can of Spam, 8 count fun pack (small kid size boxes) of dried cereals, 2 packs of dried ramen noodles.
A couple of Nutri-Grain bars and a handful of Twizzlers.
A 2 pack of 550 Paracord, one reflective green and one flat black.
An emergency candle & signal mirror. Matches, 2 cigarette lighters. 2 foldable Survival Life knife blades. SOG survival knife. Quick dry packaged towel, firestarter wood blocks. Military Grade compass. Foldable Fiskars wood cutting blade. 2 pair of medical gloves. 2 bottles of water and an MRE.
A sharpened USMC KA-BAR, Brass emergency whistle, a chargeable flash light. Small pocket notebook.
A copy of my Life Insurance policy & $50.00 in Cash. Extra pair of winter gloves and socks. A breakdown aluminium emergency shovel and a rachet strap.
Should I add anything?

Throw a bag of kitty litter in the trunk (NOT the bag) for extra traction, should you get stuck and need it.

I've got about 20 bags of salt in the basement, I'll throw one of those in just in case.
I buy up a bunch at the end of the season, it's cheaper then.

So I was looking up a few things and a few good tips got passed my way, when traveling out in the cold always insure your vehicle has a full tank of gas at all times and insure that your cell phone has a full charge. This will insure if you're stuck somewhere you can still run the car for heat purposes and you can if possibly make contact with someone that may assist in a rescue... Save your butt!
Any other hints, tips or tricks?

Great stuff, Hunter!  Being from the south, my "cold weather" kit is usually a can of Fix O' Flat, and a bottle of Baileys!
