While it isn't on the topic of zombies, a great survival novel I think you should all check out is Patriots: A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse, by James Wesley, Rawles...
It is excellent and realistic and covers a vast range of ideas, and was written by the man behind SurvivalBlog.com.
