You'd think I'd go for COLT, since they make AR's and 1911's (are there any OTHER guns?!), and while I've owned a 6720 back in the day, I've never owned one of their pistols!

Charles Daly would've been an EXCELLENT source for both, as they made good AR's and 1911's... but they went out of business, before I could get either. Sad

Springfield makes both, and while I have several of their 1911's, QC on their AR's is still hit & miss at this point.

So I prefer SA 1911's (although I also own Kimbers), and BCM AR's. Cool
