One of the GREAT guys in the AR world the past ten years, has been Wiliam Larson ("Iraqgunz" on webforums, most notably M4C) - an Army & USCG vet; an in-country armorer/intructor for the DoD, as well as for Blackwater. He was later an armorer for BCM, Centurion, Sionics, and most recently head of Semper Paratus Arms - instructing police armorers around the country. If you've built an AR in the last ten years, hopefully you got it straight from the source; but if your AR is a quality build, then you probably got your instruction, from someone who got it FROM him. There are very FEW areas and manufacturers in the AR15 and related acoutrement fields he didn't influence or work with.
He passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning in his sleep - from a previously undiagnosed diabetic condition. There is a go-fund-me memorial set up for the family if you're interested. Do pass along the link as you are inclined as well.

Meet ya' at the bridge.
