Both stores were attempting to get out of the gun business to please the Libtards. However they lost way too much money on that idea. Apparently guns are a very profitable business, who knew! So they are quietly easing back into the barrel business.

I don't have a generator nor will I probably get one because yes they are more than likely going to give away my position and let those outside know I'm still alive and got the good stuff in my place, second the exhaust would need to be ran through a brick wall since my basement is concrete brick and so is the rest of my house and I'm not paying all that kinds of money to have somebody put a hole in my house. Not to mention if I don't let someone in they can plug up the exhaust  and kill me from the fumes and then they bust in and get all my stuff . That's what flashlights and candles are for. As far as perishable foods well I will probably have to go without those for a while and so will the rest of my family. As far as light leaks that's why I have a gallon of black paint in my basement never used sitting on the shelf waiting to be used and hopefully I never have to use it. Then my windows will be completely darkened. I certainly do not want to give away my position and want to be as Incognito as I can when the shit hits the fan.
